A dark, blended wine of Sicilian origin with a rich and smoky flavour.
Marsala wine is often found in recipes that also contain Worcestershire sauce, mushroom gravy and beef tenderloin.
Substitution for 1/4 cup Marsala wine:
1/4 cup Madeira wine
