Ingredients (serves 12)

  • 3 whole avocados ; halved, pitted
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons salt
  • 12 slices whole wheat bread ; toasted
  • 4 1/2 teaspoons olive oil
  • 1.5 lemons ; juiced
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons garlic powder
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons onion powder
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons black pepper

  • Directions

    1. Scoop the avocado into a bowl and add lemon juice, onion powder, garlic powder, oil, pepper and salt, and mash together until smooth.
    2. Spread mixture on the toasted bread.
