Ingredients (serves 6)

  • 1/2 teaspoon cumin
  • 4 tomatoes ; minced finely
  • 1 tablespoon water
  • 1 onions ; red, minced finely
  • 2 avocados ; peeled, mashed or cubed
  • 2 teaspoons cilantro
  • 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 2 limes ; juiced
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt

  • Directions

    In a small bowl, combine spices with the water. Add remaining ingredients, and combine well to coat. Let stand for a few minutes and serve. Yield, 2-3 cups.
