Ingredients (serves 4)

½ 2x 3x Reset

  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1/3 cup cocoa powder
  • 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 1/3 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup butter ; lightly beaten
  • 2 egg(s)
  • 8 ounces cherries ; fresh or canned cherry pie filling
  • 1 pie shell

    Directions

     Prep: 15 min | Cook: 40 min | Ready in: 1 hr 25 min
    In a saucepan, combine sugar, cocoa, flour and milk until smooth. Add butter. Bring to a boil - cook and stir for 2 mins. Remove from heat. Stir a small amount of hot mixture into eggs. Return to pan. fold half of cherry pie filling in. Pour into pastry shell. Bake at 350 degrees for 35-40 mins. Cool completely on wire rack. Before serving top with remaining pie filling.
