Ingredients (serves 2)

½ 2x 3x Reset

  • 1 pound chicken; ground
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1 egg(s) ; beaten
  • 1/3 cup bread crumbs
  • 1/2 pound spaghetti
  • 1 pound pasta/marinara sauce
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • parmesan cheese ; grated, optional

     Prep: 15 min | Cook: 30 min | Ready in: 40 min
    1. Heat oil in a large skillet over medium heat
    2. Combine chicken, garlic powder, Italian seasoning and bread crumbs in a large bowl.
    3. Form into 1 - 2 inch balls and add to the skillet.
    4. Cook for about 10 minutes, rolling the balls around to brown them evenly.
    5. Add the pasta sauce and simmer on low heat, covered for about 20 minutes.
    6. Cook spaghetti according to package directions and drain.
    7. Spoon spaghetti onto dishes, and top with the meatballs and sauce. 
    8. Sprinkle with parmesan cheese and serve.
    Original recipe can make about 8,  2-inch meatballs.
