Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. In small bowl stir together baking soda, flour, and salt. Set aside. In large mixer bowl beat 1 1/2 cup brown sugar and button on medium speed until combined. Add egg and beat further until fluffy. Add flour mixture and beat until combined. Stir in 1 cup of chopped pecans. Drop by rounded teaspoonfulls onto greased cookie sheets. Bake 10 to 12 minutes or until bottoms are completely browned. Cool completely on wire racks. For glaze, compbine half-and-half and 1/3 cup brown sugar. Bring to a boil, stirring constantly. Remove from heat and beat in confectioner's sugar. Place 1 tsp chopped pecans on each cookie. Drizzle glaze over the pecans. Let stand at room temperature until set. Makes 36 cookies.
