An easy, homemade applesauce with cinnamon

Ingredients (serves 4)

  • 4 apples ; cored, peeled and chopped
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 3/4 cup water

  • Directions

    1. Combine all ingredients in a large skillet. Cover and cook over medium heat for 15 to 20 minutes, or until the apples are soft.
    2. Allow mixture to cool. Mash with a fork to desired consistency.

    Not bad... How much sugar you need depends on the tartness of the apples. May need to experiment with different kinds.
