Cranberries and apples! The perfect autumn side dish.
Ingredients (serves 6)
- Cut apples into 1 inch chunks. Place in a large pot with the rest of the ingredients, except the lemon juice.
- Bring to boiling. Reduce heat to medium-low and cover. Cook for 20 minutes, or until apples are tender and sauce has thickened.
- Add a little water if mixture is too dry. Uncover pot and mash apples with a fork.
- Add lemon juice and stir.
