1 pound egg noodles

Directions
Preheat oven to (350F) 175C
Cook noodles according to package directions.
Combine noodles, brandy, eggs, apples, honey, vanilla, baking powder, apricots, pecans, 1/2 cup of sugar, cream cheese in a bowl. and pour into a baking dish, such as a 24cm round dish or a 9x13 inch dish.
Bake in preheated oven for 50 minutes to 1 hour.
Meanwhile, combine the remaining 1/2 cup of sugar, water, lemon juice and a few drops of vanilla extract in a small saucepan. Cook on medium heat until reduced to a syrup.
Remove kugel from the oven and pour the syrup over it before serving.
