Ingredients (serves 8)

  • 3 pounds flank steak ; 9 oz per steak
  • 2 tablespoons rosemary ; finely chopped
  • 3 tablespoons sage ; finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic ; minced
  • 2 1/2 teaspoons olive oil
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

  • Directions

    Preheat a broiler. Combine olive oil, the seasonings and herbs in a small bowl. Rub mixture on both sides of the steaks, spreading evenly. Arrange steaks on the rack of a broiler pan, and broil 2 to 3 inches from the heat for 6 to 9 minutes on each side or until desired doneness is reached.
