Ingredients (serves 12)

  • salt ; to taste
  • 2 onions
  • 2 cloves garlic ; chopped finely
  • 3 avocados ; large
  • 3 sprigs coriander
  • 8 tomatillos ; green
  • 6 serrano chile peppers ; chopped finely

  • Directions

    Remove the seed from the avocadoes and mash the flesh in a bowl. Grind or process the tomatillos with the salt, coriander and garlic. Combine the tomatillo mixture with the mashed avocado, chopped onion and chilies. Serves 12.
