Ingredients (serves 12)

  • 8 fillets salmon ; 4 oz each
  • 4 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper ; flakes
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons ginger ; ground
  • 2 cloves garlic ; minced
  • 3 teaspoons brown sugar
  • 4 tablespoons green onions ; thinly sliced
  • 4 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
  • 1/2 cup peanut oil

    Directions

     Prep: 10 min | Cook: 15 min | Ready in: 5 hr
    1. In a small bowl, whisk together all ingredients except salmon. Place salmon in a separate bowl, and pour the marinade over it. Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for 4-6 hours.
    2. Preheat a grill rack.
    3. Oil the rack and adjust height to about 5 minutes above coals.
    4. Grill salmon for 10 minutes per inch of thickness, or until fish flakes easily with a fork. Turn fillets halfway through cooking.
