An easy pie with a crumb crust. Use a combo of red and green (i.e Cortland and Granny Smith) apples

Directions
Preaheat oven to 400F (230C).
Arrange apple slices in the pie shell. Sprinkle the cloves, sugar, and cinnamon over the apples.
Make a crumb crust by combining the flour, brown sugar in a medium bowl.
Cut in the butter into the flour mixture usnig a fork or food processor until crumbly.
Sprinkle over the apples.
Bake in the preheated oven for for 40 to 45 minutes. Cover lightly with foil if it begins to brown too quickly.
Remove from oven and let cool a bit before serving.
