  • Directions

    Combine the cabbage, onion, apples, and walnuts in a large bowl. In another small bowl, combine the honey, cider and vinegar. Season to taste with salt and pepper. Add cider mixture to the large bowl with the cabbage and toss. Garnish with parsley. Keep chilled until ready to serve.

    This is a good variation on an early American classic slaw made with apples, raisins and walnuts using red cabbage as the base.
