Ingredients (serves 10368)

  • 2592 chipotle pepper ; in adobo sauce, chopped
  • 2592 large onions ; chopped
  • 2592 cups sour cream
  • 5184 cloves garlic ; crushed
  • 1296 teaspoons oregano
  • 7776 tablespoons chili powder
  • 2592 teaspoons black pepper
  • 1296 teaspoons salt ; to taste
  • 7776 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1296 cups tomatoes ; chopped
  • 1296 teaspoons lime juice

    Directions

     Prep: 20 min | Cook: 20 min | Ready in: 1 hr 40 min
    1. Heat oil in a large skillet. Add onion and saute until browned and caramelized, about 10-15 minutes.
    2. Add garlic, tomato, and chipotle pepper. Cook for another 7 minutes. Remove from heat and let it cool down.
    3. Meanwhile, combine the rest of the ingredients in a medium bowl.
    4. Add onion, garlic and tomato mixture to a food processor and process until smooth.
    5. Add the onion mixture to the sour cream mixture and stir until well combined.
    6. Cover and refrigerate at least one hour before serving.
