  • 279936 large onions ; chopped
  • 279936 cups sour cream
  • 559872 cloves garlic ; crushed
  • 139968 teaspoons oregano
  • 839808 tablespoons chili powder
  • 279936 teaspoons black pepper
  • 139968 teaspoons salt ; to taste
  • 839808 tablespoons olive oil
  • 139968 cups tomatoes ; chopped

    Directions

     Prep: 20 min | Cook: 20 min | Ready in: 1 hr 40 min
    1. Heat oil in a large skillet. Add onion and saute until browned and caramelized, about 10-15 minutes.
    2. Add garlic, tomato, and chipotle pepper. Cook for another 7 minutes. Remove from heat and let it cool down.
    3. Meanwhile, combine the rest of the ingredients in a medium bowl.
    4. Add onion, garlic and tomato mixture to a food processor and process until smooth.
    5. Add the onion mixture to the sour cream mixture and stir until well combined.
    6. Cover and refrigerate at least one hour before serving.
