1 pound okra ; trimmed and sliced
1/2 medium yellow bell pepper ; seeded and cut into strips

1 clove garlic ; minced
1/4 medium onions ; red, cut into wedges
1 1/2 teaspoons thyme
1/3 cup chicken broth
1 tablespoon olive oil
salt ; to taste
black pepper ; to taste

Directions
Heat oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add peppers, onion, and garlic. Cook for 1 minute, stirring. Add the broth, thyme and okra. Toss to mix. Heat until the broth is steaming. Cover and cook for an additional 10 minutes over medium heat. Season with salt and pepper.
